I Can't Believe it! I Finally Did it!!!

Well guys, I finally did it! WOO HOO!

I can’t believe I have finally finished my website! And it’s LIVE!

I never really knew before just how much work went into building a website. It actually wasn’t the designing of the site that felt like a lot of work, that part was fun. It was the thought process before you even start. The questions you have to ask yourself. Like why you create and what you hope to accomplish with your website. Those are hard questions. At least they are to me. I just do what I enjoy and don’t think about the why. I create because I love it. I wanted a website so I could share more of what I love to do with others!

I was getting caught up in what it should be and trying to make it somewhat professional. Finally I realized those that will follow me, those that DO follow me, love me for who I am! So just be myself! Do what I want! Do what they already love seeing from me and go from there! This is MY website, it doesn't need to be all stuffy and professional, it can be easy going and relaxing. Right?

I want this website to have the feel of a friend coming over and hanging out. We talk about art. You look around at my stuff. You ask questions. Maybe learn something if you’re interested. I want you to feel comfortable and enjoy yourself.

I hope for this to be another place we can get together and interact, to share ideas and art!

I will be taking into consideration all the things that were suggested in the comments of one of my YouTube videos where I asked what you would like to see on my website. You had a lot of fabulous ideas!!!

  • You will notice I have added a gallery of the different types of art I do and will be adding anything new I may try.

  • There's a place where you can find my favourite art supplies and where to buy them.

  • Those were two request that I have already put into place.

  • I look forward to doing some fun things as well, like hosting a monthly challenge maybe!

  • And how about a Font Friday, not every single Friday, maybe once a month.

  • I also want to learn how to host Lives so we can actually hang out and art! I think that would be fun!

Down the road I also hope to offer some classes and have a shop! Exciting!!!

Before I get into more of what I have planned for this site, I would like to take a moment to talk about Roben Marie Smith and her Makers Tech U course.

I honestly feel this website wouldn't be possible, or at least nearly as good, if it wasn't for Roben Marie and her amazing course. This course was a blessing! It was exactly what I needed. Roben Marie made everything so easy and actually enjoyable! I really enjoyed the experience thanks to her. She taught me so much more than just building a website. The course is full of fabulous tips across many platforms and apps, things I never even knew existed that make life so much easier and organized! Gotta love that!

If having a website is something you've been considering, I strongly urge you to check out Roben Marie's MTU course .

It’s amazing!

I also want to share some more exciting news. Well, exciting for me anyway. lol Sometime in the not too distant future (I hope), I will be making some changes in my art room.

Now that I have a website I can keep you guys posted on the process!

There's going to be lots of planning to try and figure out the best ways to organize all my art supplies. Yes, ALL of them! So I may be looking to you for suggestions.

My husband is going to build me a floor to ceiling storage center!!! It was HIS idea! He may regret it.

So I get to customize all the storage! What a dream! But like I said before, it’s going to take a lot of planning.

It will be exciting and I will be sharing it all with YOU here!

So make sure to sign up for my newsletter so you don't miss out on any of it!!!
