You can use pretty much anything when it comes to gel printing. There are no rules. But here are the things I tend to use most.

I love Gel Press Printing Plates. I have had other brands and have not been as happy with them. Gel Press carries a variety of shapes and sizes.

You can also get brayers, texture combs and Impressables.

For paper I tend to use Recollections Card Stock from Michael’s Craft Store. If I plan to use it for collage or just fooling around, then I will just use whatever printer paper I have on hand. No specific brand.

What paints I use vary. Click here to see my favourite paints.

Sometimes I like to use a baren to rub the back of my paper before pulling a print from my Gel Press plate. It is not a necessary tool but I sometimes find it easier on the hands.
