July - August Challenge!
Summer is here and that usually means we are all feeling a little busier. Or maybe we have a little less on our plates, we just don’t want to spend all our spare time inside! Either way I thought I would give us all a little more time to work on this next challenge!
Good idea right!
I love making mini albums. I know I’m not alone in this but I also know there are many out there that have never made one! Really! It’s true! I know - I can’t believe it either!
So this month’s challenge is to make a mini album! No worries, I’m not just going to leave it right there for you to all fend for yourselves. I have designed the album for you. I have designed 6 pages.

I have kept the album pretty simple so it should be easy to follow along.
I have a video on my YouTube channel showing how the pages are done.
You can find it here.
The album measures 6” high and 5.5” wide. I used 8 1/2” X 11” Recollections kraft card stock from Michael’s for my album. You may use whatever color paper you like. You may also choose whatever type of paper you like. It is totally up to you.
You may piece your album together however you choose using whatever binding you like. You can do what you like to it. Collage, paint, mixed media, doodles, watercolor, whatever you choose. The only thing I ask is for you to stick to the style/design of the pages.
So head on over to my YouTube channel and watch the video.
Remember:
You may choose whatever kind of paper you like.
You may decorate your pages however you like.
You may put the pages in whatever order you like.
You may bind the album however you like.
All I ask is that you follow:
The size of the pages.
The design of the pages.
After watching the video if you have any questions you can:
leave a comment here on the blog post.
leave a comment on the YouTube video.
Go to my Facebook Group and ask the question there.
And Remember!
You have 2 whole months to complete this challenge! So no stressing. Just enjoy the process and have fun with it!
Can’t wait to see what you do with the album!
If you haven’t already done so, please check out my Facebook Group. We have lots of fun over there and share what we create. Whether it’s with challenges or just something we’re working on. Everybody is so friendly and helpful. Please come and join us!
